IMPACT
"What’s really nice is how Gen AI meets managers in the moment. It is really thoughtful at culturing up. And it focuses on the tone, which means we're all in this together rather than the hierarchical. The designs have got manager improvement on the spot and then manager in reflection. There is improvement with the team and yourself. It's like all about growth."
- JoEllen Kames (Director of User Experience Design @Salesforce)

PROBLEMS
Overwhelming decisions at every moment—often under significant pressure—especially in situations where subtle nuances can lead to unintentional miscommunication during one-on-one meetings. They don't have time to reflect deeply on every conversation.
Jobs To Be Done
Understand the causes of miscommunication to prevent it from happening again and to encourage active participation from team members during meetings.
MANAGER NEEDS

WHAT I LEARNED
While working with the Salesforce AI team, I gained experiences, leveraging generative AI in human human-computer interaction design, applying the design thinking process to align AI capabilities with user needs, evaluating which datasets can or cannot be utilized for AI applications, and exploring generative AI capabilities to support design execution.
